Pikes Peak attracts more than 500,000 visitors every year, making it the most visited peak in North America. If you think that’s impressive, wait until you see the view. The Cog Railway that goes up to the top of the mountain is presently closed for maintenance and will reopen in 2021. By far the most popular way to summit, driving gives you the freedom to take things at your own pace. Stop at every curve of the road, or cruise straight to the clouds, you’re in charge and can spend as much time as you like during the highway’s daily hours. COLORADO WOLF AND
WILDLIFE CENTER
The Colorado Wolf and Wildlife Center is one of very few sanctuaries in the United States which has been certified by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA). The center is home to wolves, coyotes and fox that each live and thrive in large wooded enclosures that provide privacy, sanctuary and stimulation for these amazing and beautiful animals. Visitors can take an hour tour to meet all of the resident animals, learn their histories, and gain a better understanding of how they and their habitat are being threatened and what people can do to help. Each tour culminates with a group “wolf howl.”

Seven Falls
This magnificent series of waterfalls is situated in a 1,250-foot-wall box canyon between the towering Pillars of Hercules.
Located less than one mile from The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs, Seven Falls is one of Colorado’s most captivating natural wonders. Take in stunning vistas of verdant valleys, striking rock formations and golden prairies as you climb the challenging 224 steps to the hiking trails and the banks of glistening streams that feed Seven Falls, and its 181-foot drop of falling water.
